Why a video will not download

A failed download does not always mean the service is offline. The result depends on the exact URL, whether the post is public, what the source exposes to a visitor without an account and whether the requested file fits the service limits.

1. Check the URL itself

Open the link in a private browser window. It should lead to one video or track and play without signing in. Profile, channel, search, feed and playlist pages are not individual media URLs. Remove text accidentally copied before or after the address.

2. Read the error category

Error Meaning What to do
Invalid URL The address is incomplete or not HTTP/HTTPS. Copy the link again from Share.
Unsupported source The domain is not on the verified list. Check the status page.
Private content The source requires an account or permission. Use a genuinely public post; do not send credentials.
Source unavailable The post was removed, restricted or temporarily not exposed. Retry once later and verify the source page.
Long wait or temporary limit The source is busy or receiving too many requests. Wait several minutes; avoid repeated clicks.

3. Check duration, size and quality

The service accepts individual items up to 30 minutes and prepared files up to 1.5 GB. A 4K option may disappear when the estimated result is too large. Try a lower resolution only if it meets your needs; it will not fix a private or deleted source.

4. Video has no sound

Some platforms offer video without audio. On YouTube, the service can automatically prepare a combined MP4 with sound. If a button is marked as video-only, choose a combined option. See the format guide for details.

5. Report a reproducible problem

Try once in a private window and note the platform, public URL, selected quality, time and exact error. Send those details through Contact and support. Never send a social-network password, session cookie or private link.
