How to save a SoundCloud track
- Open the public track in the app or browser.
- Select Share and copy the track link.
- Paste the URL into the form and select Download.
- Choose the available audio option and save it to your device.
Format and sound quality
SoundCloud determines the quality available for each track. In our 30 October 2026 practical check, a 96 kbps M4A file downloaded and played successfully. Another track may offer a different bitrate or format. The service preserves the available source quality instead of promising an artificial improvement.
Supported links and restrictions

The uploader and rights holder decide whether a track may be downloaded. Use the tool only when you have permission or another lawful basis.
